what is better , limewire pro4.12.6 or limewire 4.13 beta. Also i have seen people say download pro free, but i cant seem to find it, where do you get it , i tried google etc.....

http://www.limewire.com/ is the most used free file sharing site. make sure you have anti virus running before swapping any files. the free edition of avg available from http://free.grisoft.com/freeweb.php/doc/2/ does a good job. once you have installed limewire do a search for limewire pro. then install this and delete the original. pro is faster. i think you should hold off on beta.

Limewire is good software i still use it to this day. I really like Limewire, I'm actually an avid user of it. If I want to download a music file I use Limewire always. If you are looking for a good peer to peer software to download music, softwares/programs and videos you should get limewire too.
It's a safe and reliable pogram but like all peer to peer program you have to be careful of what you are donwloading from it. It does not matter what P2P program you use, you always have to be cautious about what you download.
Don't use torrents/downloads from other sites, they might be backdoored.
It's a very good program and easy to use.

Downloading LimeWire is free. Illegally, you can download LimeWire Pro off of Limewire (go figure!).
I would stay away from betas. Stick with the latest version stated at Limewire.com.

Beta means still testing meaning may have bugs. May work or not work on your computer so download the stable one. Use limewire itself or any other P2P programs to download limewire pro. Slick huh? Laterz!

Personally I say scrap both versions of limewire and download Shareaza. It gives you so many more options and easier to use!

yeah i use to have limewire. its actually best not to download anything! it'll just make your computer get viruses and run slower.

personally I'd try and avoid it all together, the only experiences i've had have been bad ones, putting many viruses onto computers, try Ares Lite as an alternative!
