OK, i went out with this girl for a year and then she cheated on me but for some reason i still love her to death and cannot get her out of my mind at all and not to toot my own horn but she really did have it great with me. i was a gentleman, funny (well i tried), nice, outgoing, i spoiled her on our monthly anis. and i didnt do anything to ruin our relastionship....since then i have been heartbroken, depressed, and just plain pissed off at everyone except for a few of my friends...Now she has a thing for one of my friends from lacrosse and im pretty sure there gonna be going out soon. how am i supposed to move on like her? someone please give me advice???

been there and as stubborn as you probably feel about loving her, i suggest getting back on the horse.. years down the road you'll wish you hadn't spent much time thinking about her afterward.

another tip, make sure you're better than your friend in lacrosse.. i'd be extra motivated and take out any pent up frustrations on the field.

you will get over this, and you sound like a genuine guy. you'll end up with a better girl and realize in the long run that although the situation sucks right now, it will only help shape you into a better man for it.

good luck to ya and when you have the option, be the better man.

Sit back and watch her fall on her face with this rebound guy. Her behavior has triggered a decline in your self worth so thats what yu gotta focus on- not her! Don't push your friends away, but do ask that her name not be brought up when you are hanging. write a list of 5 things you most want to do and can accomplish within 30 days and persue it relentlessly. Find someone who will let you talk about this as much as you need to but keep your thoughts as positive as possible. when you want to cry do so and keep a journal so you can see how you will progress in getting over her.

Attitude & Time is all that will help. Sounds like she likes more of a challenge, don't give your next sweetie everything she wants.
