Its fatty goodness doesn't hurt but... the theory goes that when chocolate is eaten it releases b-endorphin- an opioid peptide- brain says "woo woo party!' and wants more. Body gets fat! "woo woo party" and wants more! Also, chocolate has methlxanthines caffines and theobromide (mild stimulant, once again "woo woo party")
also, chocolate can help decrease the bad fats in your blood stream, and increase the good fats. So, blame it on your brain, feel good about how heart-healthy it is! and indulge!- dd

In my opinion there are two reasons. The first is that it is physiological. Many times you may have heard the term chocoholic, so many people think that chocolate is like a drug, and it is addictive. Second, the taste is so appealing to your taste buds that you cannot resist it!

I think the reason why chocolate is so addictive is because of the caffeine, which is a simulate. It gives you a boost like coffee. And it keeps you awake.

Either the body is craving the lecithin content of chocolate, or pure cocoa stimulates the release of chemicals in the brain which make one feel a bit in love. It's soothing.

Hey its been proven healthy. Its so yummy. Just don't over do it and you will be fine. I thiink ne thing sweet is addictive I have a problem with jolly ranchers.
