He'd better have a good reason..... like the death of a close family member and he was tied up making arrangments.... had an accident and was in the hospital having surgery.... something good.
Guys do that to women all the time and it's TACKY! Don't be a cad guys.... call the gal in 1 - 2 days... even if it's just a short "thank you for a nice time" call. If you don't want a follow-up date, thank her for the date and tell her that you don't think you are compatible and will be moving on, but that she's a nice gal and you wish her the best.
She may not be happy with that, but it's better than sitting around wondering if the guy is going to call or something. If you had sex, you owe an explanation in any case..... and only a jerk wouldn't call.

Hi There....there is a rediculous 'wait three days' rule that some guys use, so maybe he's one of them. He could just be really busy, or sick, or out of town too. I think if you are interested in him go for it. Only you know if he's interesting enough. I wouldn't loose interest in someone just because it takes him a few days to get back to me.
In general though I think it's a bad idea for a guy to do that to a girl just because he doesn't want to appear 'anxious' or 'desperate,' or thinks it makes him look 'cool.' Calling her right away, if you can, shows that you are really interested in her and a woman prefers a man who isn't afraid to be honest about his feelings over a little boy who likes to play head games. I know I do!

yes i would lose interest.. first after a day of no contact it will be.. wonder why hes not txted or called me? second day 'ok why did he take my number and still not call me'.. third day, 'who the hell is that who just called me?' *figures out who it is* question, 'its taken you a while to get back to me?' he replies 'sorry ive been really busy..' *coughliarcough* not a good impression.. causes you more work to get them to like you

I wouldnt worry about him one way or another. He sounds like he's trying to play that whole game of waiting to call, acting like he doesnt care thing. If he's not being honest I would forget about him, there are plenty of honest decent men out there.

I never call people because when i get a chance too i always feel like its too early in the morning. the only way i would lose interest if when HE DOES CALL THE CONVERSATION IS BORING.but try to kep your mind off of it or youre going to drive yourself crazy.

No necessarily. He may not call as he doesn't want to appear over eager. However, if you and him start dating and then he doesn't call for days on end, then it would become a problem for me.
