im hungry but we dont have much around the house to eat, the box of cream cheese in the fridge looks good though. What goes good with cream cheese (other then a bagel duh!) i was thinking like pretzels or something? or even a recipe someone has on hand thats quick to throw some dinner for myself together. Anything? Thanks

If you have a can of red beans in chili sauce, you can pour that in a big bowl, add monterey jack cheese on top (really cover the whole thing and mix it), then put the philadelphia cream cheese on top like a thick blanket (i just love 'philadelphia' cream cheese!!). Then put the whole thing in the microwave until everything is hot and the cheese has melted. It makes just a great dip for tortilla chips!!!! Yum yum!!!

Here's a good dip I like to make. If you don't have all the ingredients, you may want to make it another day. I have been known to eat this for a meal.
2 pkgs cream cheese
1 lrg container of sour cream
1 pkt taco seasoning
mix the above and spread on a cookie sheet. Top with favorite taco stuff. (lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, olives, green peppers, etc.) Eat with tortilla chips.

Pretzels are great
Toast some bread spread with cream cheese. If you have any olives, pimentos, lettuce, or other veg you can put on the sandwich too

TAFFY APPLE DIP
4 oz. cream cheese
2 T. powdered sugar
1/4 c. plus 2 T. brown sugar
1/2 t. vanilla
2 apples, sliced (Granny Smith apples are best, but any will be good)
1. In a medium bowl, blend cream cheese and 1/2 t. vanilla with spoon.
2. Measure 2 T. powdered sugar and blend.
3. Measure 1/4 c. plus 2 T. brown sugar and blend.
(Alternatative for dipping apples with)
Isn't too bad

I love dipping pretzels and even corn chips in room temp cream cheese. It is verrrry yummy.

Heat a little of it in a pan with a beaten egg, some milk, garlic salt & some parm. cheese and top some pasta with this. YUM !!!
