Not sure what you mean by Gard Level but, yes. Understanding each reinforces your understanding of the other.

does it help what? realize that 5 years after graduating you won't remember or care about 95% of the stuff you learned. so if you have interest in one the other or both areas, or if you glance through the two textbooks, and find that one, the other, both, or neither are making sense to you (and sparking a bit of interest), that's what you should base your decision on.

Hi Men Knowledge dose not go waste. If you finds your mind is capable to the Both together that then doesn't mind.
