A prayer by Saint Francis :
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace.
Where there is hatred . . . let me sow love
Where there is injury . . . pardon
Where there is doubt . . . faith
Where there is despair . . .hope
Where there is darkness . . . light
Where there is sadness . . .joy
Divine Master, grant that i may not so much seek
To be consoled . . .as to console
To be understood . . .as to understand,
To be loved . . . as to love
For it is in giving . . .that we receive,
It is in pardoning, that we are pardoned,
It is in dying . . .that we are born to eternal life

The Lords Prayer and one I kinda made up about the one I love.
Heavenly Father up above,
Please protect the one I love
Guard him and keep him, and let him know
That I'll always love him so
Through thick and thin
In peace and war
Let him know that I love him
No one could love him more...
I have said this prayer since my boyfriend went to Vietnam in 1966

I don't have a favorite prayer because I've learned from the Bible that I can pray about anything as long as it's in harmony with God's will and purposes, and if I were to recite the same prayer over and over again, it wouldn't be coming from my heart and it wouldn't be genuine. Besides, everyday we need something different, so we should pray for different things.

The Lords Prayer:
Our Father which art in Heaven, Hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

[001.001] In the Name of God, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
[001.002] All the praises and thanks be to God, the Lord of the 'Alamîn (mankind, jinns and all that exists).
[001.003] The Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful.
[001.004] The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)
[001.005] You (Alone) we worship, and You (Alone) we ask for help (for each and everything).
[001.006] Guide us to the Straight Way
[001.007] The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger (such as the Jews), nor of those who went astray (such as the Christians).
This is the best prayer in the world.

One that is sincere, meaningful, deep and moving, heartfelt and fervently prayed to our Heavenly Father.
We should pray with the spirit and pray with the understanding also.
