Depends who has made them! I think Heinz tom soup is awful. Its sweet and atrificial and tastes nothing like tomatoes!
Most preprepared onions soups are ok although they bear no resemblance to home made or french onion soup!
Soup is so easy to make. A good home made tomato soup is wonderful, but I have to admit I prefer French Onion with lovely cheesey croutons floating on top!

Tomato soups better if you are just eating it. I like to use onion soup to season things.

Tomato is my soup of choice...but I love onion soup with a nice roast beef sandwich....yum!
