Reality - religious traditions and rituals bind believers in fellowship. Repetition provides outward display of inner religious beliefs. Offer a sense of familiarity and comfort.

Holy - religious traditions and rituals are usually centered around absolution, forgiveness, and give a sense of connectedness and acceptance to something bigger than the self.

Sacred - Participating in a physical sacred action and/or custom links that religious practice with the participants devotion and love and deeper sense of connection for God or whatever they believe to be a higher power.
