How old is it?
BTW The dog is not rabid. He is probably a young lab with a ton of labby energy. A good run outside chasing tennis balls is what he needs. As for chasing your cat, sometimes that's what dogs do---especially if they don't know the cat.
Sorry about the chair, labs can be very destructive if they don't get enough exercise and training.

Irratic behavior alone doesn't mean "rabid". Rabid dogs display unquenchable thirst and heavy drooling; the mania sets in as the disease hits the brain and starts destroying brain cells...
Your sister's dog may have little or no socialization and doesn't know how to behave in new settings. It needs better training.

It definately is not rabid that is for sure. Labs are very active playful dogs, they are like children they get a bit rowdy at times.

Not Rabid.
Get him to school as soon as possible and keep him in control.
The other thing is to destroy him some day.
Bigger the dog more is the problem, if untrained and out of cotrol.

how old is the dog? it is most likely puppy behavior if its younger. definitely not rabies. if she hasn't been training the dog well, it could be just need for discipline. Ask her to not bring the dog again until he can control himself.
