I used to believe this myself. One of the first "Religion" books I ever read was "Holy Blood, Holy Grail". There are many reasons for believing this. for instance, it was part of the culture in first century Judea for men to get married at a certain age. There would have been some sort of an outcry if Jesus didn't get married, bu there is no hint of this in any part of the Greek scriptures.
However, there was a provision in the Mosaic law for men to serve God without marriage. These men were called Nazirites and lived fairly unusual lives. If Jesus took on this role, it would have been perfectly acceptable to his neighbours and there would have been no outcry at all.
Also, the purpose of the Messiah is to give eternal life to a group of people (not necessarily an exclusive group). The Choice Jesus had as a perfect man with fully functional faculties was to father human children in the normal sexual way or to do so spiritually. In other words, to spiritually adopted people as children. This option has a wider scope, because anyone can choose to avail themselves of this spiritual adoption. Though it principly (in a complete spiritual sense) applies to a limited number of people, it is gracefully extended to an unlimited number of people in a spiritual/physical sense. The messiah wants to give eternal life to anyone who wants it, including everyone who has ever died everyone who is living now and thier children. This makes him the father of a potentially larger family than if he had done it the other way. The more usual way, through procreation, may have resulted in millions of descendants at the most. the spiritual way will result in billions of descendants.

Not a problem to me, because it's true. And no body think this is an acceptance or agreement with the Da Vinci Code, because it's not, it's based on historical documents found saying Jesus had a mistress.

I think there was a special relationship there but what differance does it make to us if they were married or not. Makes no difference between what is right to do. Unless u have doing everything perfect work on that first and worry about the rest after your life is beyond reproach.

Not in the least.
I never believed for a moment that Jesus spent 33 years here on earth and never noticed how cute the earth girls are.

Other than applying extreme vulgarities against the Son of God why should I?
I'm sure Jesus is very proud of your insightful thinking.

i've often thought and hoped that Jesus was intimate with M/M. since He took on human form, having a libido would make Him appear more real. i hope He did!

No, not at all. Maybe if he paid for it, but turns out she was not a prostitute, or so I've heard.

Not if He were married to her. Since the Bible doesn't address this I guess we'll never know.
