stabilize the middle east?

what is wrong with middle east that they want to change so much.they have their cultures, im sure if they wanted to be westernized they would have did it.

For starters some elements are hostile toward us. There are plenty of stable countries in the Middle East that aren't a threat. In recent history we've seen them take hostages, Trade Tower attempts, watched flag burnings on TV, Naval vessel bombings, embassy assassinations, embassy bombing, attempts on ex-presidents lives, assassinations in India and various places, countless suicide bombings on Israel and around the world. We've just watched it happen. The 9/11 report does a good job of detailing the events prior to 9/11.

The way I see it, it's not a matter of people westernizing the Middle East it's a matter of some over there Middle Easternizing us. I don't feel we are imposing on them but crashing planes into buildings is differently imposing on us...

The land of "Israel" should be split in half. The northern half would be Palestine and the southern half Israel.

In the middle occupying Jerusalem would be the new U.N. HQ with a corridor that divides these lands from the Mediterranean to the Red Sea. Both sides should be disarmed, by force if needed. Stationed there should be 200,000 man Rapid Reaction Force capable of delivering a serious smack down to ANYONE in the region that acts out of line.

MANY YEARS AGO THEY HAD NOTHING BASICALLY EXCEPT SAND. NOW THE GOVERNMENTS ARE WEALTHY AND THEY WANT "YOU" TO BE LIKE THEM OR DIE. BEFORE THEY DIDNT HAVE THE MEANS TO DISRUPT AND DESTROY EXCEPT FOR THEIR NEIGHBORS. NOW THEY DAILY THREATEN THE WORLD JUST BECAUSE THEY CAN. IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN THERE BUT OIL FINALLY GAVE THEM THEIR VOICE..CHECK OUT THEIR HISTORY. PRETTY CUTTHROAT PART OF THE WORLD.
