Alright, we just got *another* new digital camera w a 5GB multimedia card. When the card is in the camera all the pictures come up. But when we tried to download them, only about half come up and the rest won't display.. :/ any ideas? This really bites. Thanks!

If the files all transfer to your computer but only half of them display... did you shoot the other half in RAW?
Nikon NEF files for example, won't display as pictures in the Windows Explorer without a free update from Microsoft, they won't load in Photoshop without a free update from Adobe, and Nikon also includes free viewing & editing software with the camera itself. Same with the RAW files from all the other camera brands.

What type of card? You may want to get a card reader.
