This taken with other signs including, use of the swastika, funded mission to Tibet, his “supernatural” ability to control people and the idea that tulku (incarneate beings) often fall from a state of enlightenment if not nurtured in the proper enviroment. Leads me to the question… Does anyone think Hitler was a fallen Lama? Has anything been written on the subject?

Harlan Ellison wrote a short story, “Hitler Painted Roses” published in his anthology Strange Wine. I cannot find a synopsis but, as I remember the protagonist finds Hitler painting flowers in hell.

I didn’t mean Hitler was good just sympathetic. I also did not mean in this life, I mean he had karma that is difficult to explain. One must acknowledge that he had extra-ordinary talents. The fact that they were distorted in the emanation of Adolf Hitler is undeniable. Why anyone should care about his previous lives, I cannot answer but, it seems so much about him is a distortion of the Dharma. Like the Buddha in a carnival mirror. I also meant that other for example Harlan Ellison have explored this dichotomy.

Hitler was a very clever man, but I don't think he could be classified as a "fallen lama." To be a lama one has to be a monk of high rank, and since Hitler wasn't, to my knowledge, ever a devout Buddhist, I don't think he can be called a "fallen lama". I think this is just an attempt to try and put some "goodness" into an evil person with an evil philosophy.

If Hitler really did painted flowers, I would think that he sometimes felt so lonely in life, and without love. That he only expressed his true need of love through painting of flowers.

As far as I've read and seen on TV documentaries about him, Hitler had a loveless childhood. The painting reflect his feelings!

Beautiful flower painting!

No, there more to Hitler and the people pulling the strings than meets the eye, but if your asking was he the sacrificial lamb, than yes he was, the others in the regime were not aware of the people pulling the strings, all of WW II was done for a reason and not a spiritual reason no, but to bring about a prophecy it worked at least so for.

I really don't think Hitler was even a reincarnated Tibetan that did wrong in his previous life. Perhaps you should write something on this subject.
