Killing is killing, you stupid people. Gosh you make me mad sometimes with how foolish you can be, commit murdering and killing someone is the same thing! its like stealing a cookie and claim you took it...not much of a difference, its still stealing. And i dont see why governments exploit that to say there is a difference!

Christians like to pick and choose different parts of the bible for when it suits them best. They like to leave out the parts they don't like and claim that they are following the entire bible.

The Bible says MURDER is bad, which is killing without just cause. Sometimes there is justification for war, the Bible also says there is a time for war and a time for peace, a time to kill and a time to heal. Though not all wars are justifiable, but governments will always claim they are.

If all religions say that killing is wrong or bad...why is there ever war?

There is a difference in going to war (protecting ones country or stopping a madman dictator from slaughtering his own people)...and murdering someone (and you know what I mean).

God is a loving and forgiving God...and He know our hearts.

God Bless our service men and women!!!

Try not to be judgmental. You will be judged in the measure in which you judge.

How do you deal with evil? I'm not talking about people who steal because they need food or money. I'm talking about evil such as Stalin, Hitler, the Japanese in the 30s and 40s, etc.

The Word says there is a time and place for everything under the sun.
A time to heal, and a time to kill. A time for peace, and a time for war.
Don't be simple-minded my friend.
A mean-spirited woman once said men start wars so they can play
army. Let someone go to country where thugs who pretend to be
revolutionaries rape women, and cut their pregnant bellies open! Then they'll
know why men go to war.

to kill is murder, however if your life is in danger then it isn't murder if you kill the other person. aslong as the war is justified and is to prevent the aggressor from putting you in mortal danger then it doesn't constitute murder but self defense. the war in iraq i don't feel is justified but the christian soldiers who were mislead and lied to are doing what they feel is right and can therefore be construed as self defense and not murder, provided they do not over step the mark and let hatred take over their intentions and purpose of being there.

There is a difference between murder and self defense or defending your country.

No Real Christian thinks killing in general is wrong. It is only wrong to kill other Christians. The bible tells us Jesus told his followers to bring unbelievers before him and to slay them. Jesus was not some wimpy democrat liberal. He was a republican pro-war, pro-gun fighter who was willing to stand up to his foes.
