Spain once own a vast empire in the 1500's. Stretching from deep south America all the way into North America the Spanish empire was a force to be recognized. For a long time they were a key player in the many Carribean wars and held onto strategic territories in the islands. A ton of precious metals was extracted from natives and sent to Spain bringing the country into prosperity for a very long time. Famous Galleons loaded with treasures and the fleets that accompanied them are still a legend to this day.

Yes. Ever heard of the Spanish American war. For all you who dont know thats NOT the war of illegals we are currently fighting. It was a war between Spain and America. The U.S. government started a tax of phones back in 1869 or so to pay for it. Now they are finally just now repealing that tax law.

Yeah they were the powerhouse of Europe till the English destroyed the Spanish Armada. Pretty much the Souther US and most of S. America was once their territiory. 1400's was their time to shine.
