Yes! Pork is white meat. People say that it's red meat due to the blood when it is butchered. But in all seriousness it is white meat.

Pork is a white meat, but it certainly isn't a healthy meat to consume. I don't know the reason it is white, but I do know that if one puts pork under the microscope, that it will be found to be swarming with parasites, which is the reason the U.S.D.A. recommends cooking pork well done, that way you'll be eating dead parasites instead of live ones, which can hurt you. Personally, I choose not not eat pork because of the health hazards it proposes.

Pork is actually white meat. You can tell when you are cooking it. The meat is actually white. Same color when raw as chicken and turkey which is also white meat. Hope this helps

According to a local butcher pork is red meat but for cooking use it is considered white, so the advertisement is not wrong they just neglect to tell you that it is physically red and considered white

white meat. When you cook it or when you buy it it isn't red it's white well unless you butchered it then take the meat out it would be red but you have to wash the blood off and then it would be white so ya i would say it's white meat.
