You should be happy you had the opportunity to be in a relationship with that person, appreciate it, and move on.
'cause you just said that you guys have both grown up. That suggests that there may have been a time where you guys really needed each other, for the state that you were in in your lives, but now you have learned, and have grown. Maybe even grown apart, sometimes maturity will do that to a couple. Your tastes may change. Your lives may change around you that will affect your relationship- these are things you can't control.
If it were really meant to be to beyond the point it was, your relationship would have withstood these changes and that would be that. But it didn't. So that means that was the time that it was supposed to be over.
Now you're both gonna have to look for people that match your new maturity, and your criteria around your work, school, whatever you've got going. That's just the reality of things 'cause when you've got responsibilities sometimes your own personal stuff has gotta be structured -around- them.
besides, don't you think it would be helpful to date somebody you don't always have to get into a fight with. a real relationship takes more than somebody just being great in the bedroom.
you guys couldn't get back together 'cause you didn't -need- to. So be single for a while, while you can work on and establish some new traits from what you want in a woman.

I dont if this will help but I went throught the same situation. I told the girl how I would feel if we seperated and all that non-sense. It doesnt work trust me. You grew to love her. You have to tell her face to face exactly how you feel non of that sappy stuff. If you miss the sex, I cant help you there maybe they lost the attraction. If its love busy lives, growing up wont stop. It comes with age. If you both loved each other non of those issues would make any difference. You have to take perspective into thier shoes. You cant always center on yourself. Other factors could play into this alsp. The pressure on her by friends or family. Alot of things could of made the choose for her. I say be strong and if it didnt work there has to be somebody else. Theres more than 6 billion people on the planet. There is somebody. trust me. It takes a while to get over someone you love. It took me 4 years. Now I am extremely happy. Times heals all things, even a broken heart. And think of it in this way. She is the one missing out, not you

Does she know that you love her? Paying for that "extra tile on the patio floor" can take a lot out of a person. Now you've (she too) come to realize there is more to a relationship that the bedroom hyjinks, which btw is my fav sport.. Chances are in the horizon. I'm no counsellor, so what I am going to suggest you two talk out what you both want. Have some ground rules no using cuss words, letting each person finish their sentence and no jumping to conclusions - something sounds offensive ask her to explain.
With this I ask is your love deep enough to keep her?

Each morning promise yourself you will not call this person. No matter what reason you think is a perfectly good excuse to pick up the phone, YOU WILL NOT CALL! Once you've gone about two weeks without calling, promise yourself that every time she pops into your thoughts you will make a conscious effort to think about someone or something else. Moving on is hard, so try to take it one day at a time. Eventually, she won’t seem nearly as important to you as she does right now.

Let it go! One of the biggest mistakes I made when breaking up with an ex is the rush to find a replacement. It isn't fair to anyone involved. Allow the separation to run it's course, sit back and have some good times with friends and get reacquainted with yourself...

Sounds like a relationship based on sex. not a good idea to pursue that if you seek a long lasting happy relationship. But only you know if there is more to your relationship, so only you can make that decision. I hope you make the right one that makes you both happy

well if she has moved on and doesn`t want to work things out then you should too. you can`t sit around and wait for her to change her mind because there is nothin that says she will for sure. and if ya`lls relationship was only based on sex and that was the reason ya`ll fought so much was because ya`ll couldn`t have sex as much, then that wasn`t a true relationship.
