Water doesn't spoil, but it is a slight solvent which is why it can wear down rocks in a river bed and why it's good for cleaning without soap. This also allows it to wear off some of the metal or plastic from the container. You can actually taste how the water was stored (at least I can). So if you leave the water in a plastic bottle, the water will taste more and more like plastic. Techically it remains drinkable. So is drinkable water with a bad taste good?

There will be an expiration date on the bottle.
The thing about that is, if it's just plain water with no added flavoring or anything it will not go bad. It could however take on a plasticy flavor if left in the bottle too long.
