I'm a Christian, and the Bible teaches us that in the end times, perilous (dangerous) times will come. Countless people will be taken in the Rapture, the Anti-christ will come and decieve the world into thinking that he is God, (and he is not), and the seven year tribulation will begin. During this time, countless lives will be taken by plagues and by the anti-christ himself. **DO NOT BE DECEIVED BY THIS EVIL ONE!**
We do not have to experience this terrible time. If you accept Jesus Christ as your personal Saviour, He will save you from your sins and from a hell that IS REAL.
After these times, Jesus will come back and reign w/ those who believe and follow him. Then at the Great White Throne of Judgement, **EVERY KNEE WILL BOW AND EVERY TONGUE WILL CONFESS THAT JESUS CHRIST IS LORD!!**
hope this answers your question... =)

Its a bunch of bull.
It's a fairy story (OK "nightmare") with no evidence to back up that such an event will take place. The end times are constantly being "heralded" and yet here we are.
The history of humanity is a story of wars, conflicts, decimation and competition. We live in a time where technology elevates the amount of damage humans can inflict on one another. But the underlying motivation is the same, tribal warfare.
I think there are many good people trying to get beyond the problem of tribalism, but those who quote the end-times garbage are not among them. I think these folks cause a lot of misery and WANT these twisted prophecies to come to life.
I bet in about 15-20 years, when people realize that "He" ain't coming back a lot of this will die down for a while.Hopefully the next time we have a millennial tick on our arbitrarily set calender, folks will have moved beyond this nonsense.

I am not a Christian by any stretch of the imagination, but I do believe that life on this planet has come close to extinction many times before and will do so again. Not through any religious beliefs though, but through natural occurrences such as meteors hitting the earth, huge earthquakes, volcano's etc. So I suppose you could say that I think that we are potentially in the end times always.

THE TIME AFTER SATAN IS CAST DOWN FROM HEAVEN
Michael of Jude 9; and Dan,12:1-13 in Rev.12:3,4,6-11,12; and the holy angels cast Satan and the unholy out of heaven and down to earth to heave a short time left.
This was supposed to be 2520 years after Babylon Empire #3 of Rev.17:10-14; had destroyed the kings. There will be no king until king Jesus at his second coming. His first coming was in Roman Empire #6. Satan will be in 7 full world Empires and cast down ends #7. Begans for the first time world wars and world wide conflict.

We are in the downhill slide. End times have begun. Now that the world powers can no longer maintain a standing army nuclear war is inevitable. a third or two thirds of the worlds polulation will be destroyed and entire cities will be level and uninhabitable for the rebuilding... so even the survivors will know hell on earth.

i've got self assurance that throughout the top situations, Christ will first come and rapture all Christians that stay in this earth and that have ever lived in this Earth. then there will be a 7 365 days "tribulation" the place the earth would be plagued with many many trials, God exhibiting His skill and attempting to get extra human beings to teach to Him. whoever turns to Him in this tribulation would be taken up into Heaven on the top of the 7 years. then theres going to be a significant epic conflict between God and devil (the antichrist) which God will win. then God will choose all the persons who've ever lived (that is ALOT of folk) and people who believed in Him and observed Him will pass to Heaven, the rest would be thrown into "the lake of eternal hearth" unquestionably Hell. devil would be locked up, yet not yet thrown into the lake of hearth. then for 1000 years God and those human beings He has judged to be Christians will rule in this earth. no one will die we would have suitable bodies. on the top of the thousand years devil would be released one final time to work out if he can tempt any of the Christians residing on earth with God. he will gain winning some, yet not many. the few that he tempts would be thrown into the eternal lake of hearth, and devil will finally be thrown in there too. after which the Christians who've stayed authentic to God will stay with Him ceaselessly, perpetually and ever and ever!!

Read the newspaper. But "The end times" very well might be a thousand years. We have no way of knowing if "the end of the world" will be in our lifetime or not. Scary, isn't it.

When "we" awaken from our sleep (which in truth, we already have) and realize "we" are the one Son of God; when we see at last that we never left home, and never could; when we see that there is no god who sets up beings with feelings and urges, and desires, then punishes those beings when they express those god-given urges; when we ask to be awakened...

They are indeed on their way and getting close. We only have a few tens of millions of years before Sol devours the earth alive when he gets old.
