First you need to put a music cd in your laptop. Use window media player and rip out the music.

Connect your mp3 player to your laptop with an usb cable (its the black wire thing with plugs at the two ends, it should have come along with your mp3 player).

You can play the songs in the mp3 player once the files are transfered inside and the usb cables are disconnected.

About the picture. Download the picture you like from the web, right click and chose the option set as wallpaper. Now that should do the trick =D

Software should have come with the MP3 player along with a USB cable. The software should allow for turning your CD collection into MP3 and walk you through transfering the music. Also if you subscribe to a music service like Napster the service's software will do the same thing plus allow for purchacing music through the internet.

If you have an iPod, download iTunes from Apple. It's free and easy to use. You purchase songs online or use your CD player to burn the CD to your computer then to your MP3.
Might be wise to add detailed info of what MP3 player you have.
Add pic to computer, from your personal file or online? Need more specifics.
