my 2 best friends have started starving themselves, smoking, cutting themselves, and talking about suicide...i am losing them and i dont kno what to do...they r not the same ppl anymore...can someone please tell me how to help? i will do anything....plz help if u can thanks......

i was just like that and even though i hate my friend for months he told my parents and the authorites. i am glad he did so because he saved my life. so please do whats right and tell someone you trust.

How old are your friends? You can go to their parents and let them know what is going on. If that does not work, call the police station. They can do what is called a mental health arrest. They are endangering them selves and maybe the safety of others. They would take them to the hospital and probably admit them for treatment. Even if they refuse, the authorities can make them stay there for up to 3 days to get help. If insurance is a problem, they usually have social worker to help with that.
