Toto was a Carin Terrier. We have had a cream colored one for six years and she is extremely loyal, sweet and loving. She has an adorable puppy-like face even though she's six years old. I have owned one for 11 yrs and she passed last year and she was one of the kindest and sweetest dogs I have ever had . She was not only a devoted friend untill the end of our relationship but she also did not let anybody mess with me . She was very good with children as well and she loved to be petted by anybody . I loved her and will continue to love her memory for the rest of my life . good luck and god bless.

Toto was a Silky Terrier.......the body is a little longer that a Yorkies, along with the nose being slightly longer also. Ears are even bigger. I have one and yes she does look just like Toto.

Pixie is right. Cairns are not the best dogs to have. Terriers by nature are very jumpy and can get aggressive, Cairn terriers were bred to hunt rats and other varmits in Scotland and are very tenacous and unwilling to listen most of the time. If you have the time to devote to serious behavior training you might get away with it, but they need to know who is master. They also can't be left alone for long periods of time. Crating them is the only way for them to not get destructive.
