If you are 33 yrs old, what would be the age limit for you, for a woman, as a potential date? Would you date a forty something, or fifty something, if they were slim, attractive, and young at heart, or would you consider it too old?

At the age of 33 I would have dated a forty year old and considered a little older. As you say it helps if they are young at heart and attractive. But we are all different.

I dated a 33 year old woman when I was only 19. I think that anyone has the potential to connect with anyone else no matter the age. Age should not matter.

Im 23 and i think 40 is my cut off, but they have to be young and attractive looking not just some old 40 year old. So i imagine at 33 i might be up for an older woman up to 50. They have to really take care of themselfs, be in good shape, look good not just any older woman.....

Hay I'm 23 And I don't see a problem dating or having a relationship with some one in there 30's as a friend or otherwise. The thing that i think matters most is that you have the same stuff in commen and that no matter what others say you are true to your self.
Oh another thing it doesn't matter to me if they are slim or not good looks is in the eye of the beholder right!.

It's only natural to have more things in common with people of ones own age and it would therefore make better sense to stick to that. If I were friends with them prior to the date, I would feel more comfortable with any age gap there might be. As a soon to be 35 yr old, I would date someone in their 40's. 50's? may be if we really got on well with each other....who knows? Love is blind (so people say!)

I am 30.
Definitely 40 something, 50 would be pushing it, I mean that's not a lot younger than your mother!
How young is a difficult one. Not less than 18, but people tend to mature so much in their early 20's, so I would say between 21 and 25 would be just right.

I'm in my fifties now so i would be looking to some one slightly younger 40+for me
but some do like slightly older partners to them

Age isn't really important. When I was 25, I was in a relationship with a 48 year old woman! If both parties are really into each other, age is irrelevant.
