ok I'm going tp tell you all I know about ghosts. ghosts are the image that people see of a dead person. Spirits are just the energy of the person that is dead. You can tell if there are ghosts or spirits in your house if you take a picture with a digital camera and you see these floating balls of lights called "orbs".It will also work with a digital video recorder. But don't get scared. Those "orbs wont do anythung to you. There just energy that shows that there might be a spirit or ghost nearby.Now if things are flying off shelves and drawers and almost hit you, then you got a seriuos problem. It might be a poltergeist or just a mischievious ghost. And that means you have to find someone that can exercise you house. Thats all I really know about ghosts and spirits. Good luck.

spirit are rarely seen by the eye ... ghosts are usually visible to all who are there as it is only energy and therfore cannot be selective about who is seeing it
if none are seen but things are happening on a paranormal level i.e things moving .. bumps in the night type thing
then this is most likely neither ghosts or spirit but human energy or simply an old house that creaks and shifts

Unless you are trying to call spirits, you aren't going to see one. Although you may see deamons trying to tornment you. If your trying to call spirits, I would advise against it. I am a christian and believe this is evil practice, but if you are going to do it just remember that you were warned.
Now if you want to confirm that it is a spirit, walk up to it and try to touch it. Of course, you won't be able to touch it, but by walking up to it you can tell if it is indeed a ghost or an illusion.

I believe that when we want to see things, our mind can let us see them.
I don't believe when we see something we aren't even thinking about, that
our mind just made us see it!
See what I'm saying?
There are other kinds of life. And they don't all have our best interests at
heart. Don't be afraid to discover your spirituality, but don't leave yourself
wide open for everything!
God will protect you, but like anything else, you have to call on Him a few
times to get your spiritual "muscles" strong. Don't give up after one try!

When my brother-in-law's mom died, she died in her house. Afterwards, my daughter and I stayed there for a few months and although we never saw a ghost, we could feel her presence there. It hung very heavy on the air and I really think she was pissed like she didn't want us there or something. It was really creepy!

If you are seeing something that should not be there chances are there is something in your home. You can always try to de-bunk them. Could be shadows from lights, could be simple things making strange sounds etc...But if you have seen something that you can't explain, I'd call someone to come and check it out just to make sure it's not just me. It's always good to have some one other than yourself come around to see they if see or hear strange stuff.

If you see something move like objects my themselves, or have seen a silhouette then maybe it is or shadows.
