And I'm only 13, so I can't do anything extream. And also, my mom doesn't think that she likes her either.

This is also my step-dad's mom. And, when i was looking at her small Christmas tree, My sisters ornaments were in the front, and my ornament was the ONLY one in the back. And i also try my hardest to be nice, but it seems like she doesn't notice it!!

When you get older you'll realize that just because someone is your family, doesn't mean you have to like them. We can't choose our family and if your g-ma can't handle your outspoken personality and accept you (or your mom it seems) for who you are, then you don't need her or any people like her in your life. Pity her for missing out on a great relationship with her granddaughter (and daughter).

You don't really have to know if she likes you as much as your sisters. If you are worried about that all the time, you may become defensive around her.

Like they say, kill them with kindness. Just be nice and let the little jabs fly right over your head. Try to find some common interests, or at least some common ground, with her.

You won't have your grandparents with you forever.
