You can buy the suave brand in mousse that helps your hair have wave and body. All you have to do is apply it after you towel dry your hair after you wash it.

Most stores should carry a reasonably priced brand of shampoo and conditioner that promote waves. Depending on the texture of you hair, these might work well.

Another recommendation I would have is buying a diffuser attatchment for your blow dryer. Put your blow dryer on the low setting with high heat when you use it. Turn your head down towards the ground and dry moving back and forth with the dryer while scrunching your hair upwards with your other hand.

If none of these work well then you might want to have someone french braid your hair when you get out of the shower and sleep on it as it dries and you will definitely have wavy hair in the morning.

Try it all out before the day you want your hair wavy. You don't want to have a hair disaster!!!

Good Luck!

Oh I have a similar situation!! i do not advise perms because the chemical substances are truly adverse! Your different option is to apply a curling iron with a thick barrel (a million.5"). i comprehend you suggested you do not have time yet this methodology takes 10 minutes and is elementary. Spray your dried hair with some heart protectant and divide it into 5-8 vast sections. prepare some wax on the size. placing out on the point of the roots, wrap the hair around the tong and carry it in a vertical position for type of 10 seconds. launch the hair from the tong and carry it even as it cools (or use a pin to save it rolled even as to bypass to the subsequent section). even as the hair is performed and funky, run your palms on your hair to interrupt the vast curls into smaller ones and spray a mist of hair spray! Voila!

the old fashioned way was to braid it and the take it out the next day. You can go to the store and buy a wave iron. It's like a flat iron but with wave plates.

Try using Scrunch Spray from Aussie. Spray damp hair with the spray and "scrunch" as you blow dry it. Using a diffuser will help.

You could also do a body wave perm at home too. The braids work good too.
