It would be nice, but it is not entirely necessary.

No, but it would be nice if you did. For example if you are buying burgundy glasses-get a nice bottle or red. It's not neccessary. I am a HUGE wine drinker and actually I would just prefer getting the glasses alone-than receiving a bottle of wine I may not like. However, if you know the person well and have a good contact at your local liquor store, then go for it! It's really up to you. If you are uncomfortable buying a bottle of wine-try getting a vacumm for the wine. It removes most of the air in the bottle so it can be recorked and enjoyed the next day. It costs about 6. bucks and anyone who enjoys wine would really appreciate the thought you put into it.
Good luck!

I would find out what kind of wine they liked and would also include a bottle of wine with the glasses! Maybe they would invite you to join them for a glass of wine. Just a nice touch.

Yo don't have too, but it it is generally the polite thing to do. Here are two hints.
1. Buy a wine that goes with the persons tastes. If you don't know than casually ask them.
2. You don't have to spend a fortune to buy a good wine. Yellowtail is good and affordable.

Give a bottle of wine would make it complimentary to the gift of the wine glasses. But no you don't have to give them wine.

No, but some people expect it.
If the people you're giving the glasses to have a wine collection, then I wouldn't. If the glasses are rather expense, then I wouldn't either.

No not at all !! If you did want to get a little extra thing, I've seen these really nice 'wine glass charms' (try googling them) which you put on your glass so you know which drink is yours if you have a few guests round.

No,especially if theyre nice glasses, besides you may not know what kind of wine they like. You might consider buying a nice bottle stopper, though.
