My dog always sneezes and I am pretty sure she is allergic to dust, is that possible?

Also, she chews on her one paw constantly, so much that sometimes it turns red and the vet said it was allergies and to giver her Benadryl (which didn't work) Anyone else have the same problem?

Yep my Lab has bad allergies and they are environmental and not food. Benedryly does not work for him either but I do not want him on steriods so I have gone to my holistic pet store to try some of the all natural remedies. He scratches all the time and chews his paws. They can be allergic to certain foods, dust, pollens, just about anything we are allergic to. I wish he had food allergies those are easier to treat, you just avoid the food.

Dogs can have allergies.... but for the dog to chew on her paw wouldn't be from the allergies. Try a different vet and see about getting that head cup to be put on her neck so that she doesn't keep chewing on the paw. As for the sneezing, try to get some test done if your really worried. Or you can buy an ionizer that traps the dust and other molecules in the air.

dogs can be allergic, just like us - . yes.

but don't give your dog drugs!! that's messed up.

just vaccum your house more often, air it out, and you Poopy will be ok.

bless you
