Is there any good Linux distro for use on servers

I am trying to set up a server with two regular computers I already have. They are not designed to work as servers.

Another one you might try is clark connect.

Plenty of them. A sysadmin friend who knows more about that end of things recently recommended CentOS ( http://www.centos.org ), although I will probably wind up putting Ubuntu Linux ( http://www.ubuntu.com ) on the server I'm currently building.

It all depends on the features you want.

Edit: It doesn't matter whether the computers are designed as servers. You can still use them that way; you just may not get performance as good as you'd get with something designed as a server. But if you're not going to be putting a lot of demand on them, you won't notice any difference.

Check out Fedora.

I use it on my server and it's been running for nearly 3 years now.
