trying to message someone and it wont go through, have i been blocked, there is no code number, andi can still see their status

go to http://www.blockstatus.com/ and you can check if people are really 'offline' or if they have you blocked and are really online!

It sounds like they're just ignoring your messages. Either that or they've not noticed that a message box has popped up. New people to MSN / non-computer users often don't notice when a box has popped up.

If they are a new person then they probably don't know how to unblock you,if you have sent them messages before then they are probably purposely blocking you in which case they are being mean!!

When you try to send messagesges on messenger it wont allow you to send for the people who ignored you. Messenger gives you a message for the first time.

If you can see his/her status then they haven't blocked you

it might be msn's service
