There is no compulsion for a Hindu to quote something from any book. It is a pure and simple way of life which is the highest philosophy.. If you are born and brought up in India you will have this come with you automatically irrespect of what religion you claim to be.

Yes, Hinduism is a religion and way of life. It has not always been called "Hinduism" because that is a name placed on the indigenous Indian religions from outside. But these religions, though diverse, share much in common and can reasonably be referred to as a religion.
There are plenty of authentic Hindu scriptures, but I'm not sure I understand what kind of quote you are asking for here.

Of course Hinduism is a religion. Check out the links below, where Hindu scripture is discussed and categorized.
Oh, here's your chapter and verse: From the Brahma sutras (Vedanta sutras), Adhyaya 1; Adhikrana/Sutra; Pada 1
Brahma sutras (Vedanta sutras), verses 1-4:
Then, therefore, enquiry into Brahman.
From which springs the origination.
Scripture alone is the means.
All the scriptures' ultimate goal is Brahman.
Incidentally, if you're such a "Peace Wiz," why are you being so belligerent towards people of other faiths?

now i dont know enough about Hinduism to quote anything ...
but not every religion has scriptures to quote from .. my own religion doesnt ...
this does not make it an invalid religion

Do you know how "religion" is defined?
If so, quote all the definitions from an authentic dictionary, and then you'll see why your question is ignorant.

We don't have to prove anything to you. If you hate hinduism, you can stick your hatred up your ****. Your hatred for hinduism isn't going to harm us in anyway u fool. We are going to carry on practicing our religion and loving it.
We don't have to quote anything to you. Who the hell are you, asking for quotes? You are no god, that we have to obbey you. Buy a book and look up quotes yourself u punk. Your religion only has one book. Ours has over one hundred. So there is an abundance of quotes that I can throw to u. But I will only quote to people that will appreciate my religion. Not to arrogant muslims who just get cheap kicks out of denigrating everybody's else's religion.

Rig Veda, Book I Hymn I, Agni. (Ralph T.H. Griffith, translator)
1 I Laud Agni, the chosen Priest, God, minister of sacrifice,
The hotar, lavishest of wealth.
2 Worthy is Agni to be praised by living as by ancient seers.
He shall bring. hitherward the Gods.
3 Through Agni man obtaineth wealth, yea, plenty waxing day by day,
Most rich in heroes, glorious.
4 Agni, the perfect sacrifice which thou encompassest about
Verily goeth to the Gods.
5 May Agni, sapient-minded Priest, truthful, most gloriously great,
The God, come hither with the Gods.
6 Whatever blessing, Agni, thou wilt grant unto thy worshipper,
That, Angiras, is indeed thy truth.
7 To thee, dispeller of the night, O Agni, day by day with prayer
Bringing thee reverence, we come
8 Ruler of sacrifices, guard of Law eternal, radiant One,
Increasing in thine own abode.
9 Be to us easy of approach, even as a father to his son:
Agni, be with us for our weal.
