CLA hasnt been shown to significantly change any of your cholesterol levels...however there is one study that showed it MIGHT reduce total cholesterol, LDL and HDL cholesterol. But the study is flawed in design and is really nothing but junk to go on. CLA has been shown, however to help with weight loss and muscle buildup when you take it with an exercise/diet program

"n vivo animal work, as well as in vitro studies, suggest that indications may emerge for the use of CLA in the management and prevention of various cancers, cardiovascular disease, hypercholesterolemia, triglyceridemia and type 2 diabetes mellitus. It may also reduce body fat and promote lean body mass under certain conditions."
