One of my close guy friends has had a crush on my for over a year. A couple of times in the past week I have looked into his eyes and it has felt like we have connected. I think I feel something towards him but no one (that I know of) has had a crush on me before so could I just be flattered into it, if that makes sense!? Btw I'm only 13.

I think maybe your more into the fact that someone likes you and the idea of dating, then you are about the boy. But you never know. Your only 13 so you have years ahead of you to date, and if he really likes you that much then he'll wait for you to be old enough to date and wise enough to not make the wrong decision on dating him or not.

At your age lots of times when a boy looks into your eyes in a certain way you will feel something....so yes, you could just be flattered by it.

What's the problem? It's not like you're asking him to marry you. Just ask him what he thinks about you. Humor is a great way to do it. When no one else is around, make a really serious face and tell him that you have something to ask him. When he bites, ask him as seriously as you can, "Do I make you horny?" It'll break the ice, lighten the mood, and open the subject all at the same time.

There might be an attraction there. That doesn't mean you have to act on it. You could just be friends with him, or make him your boyfriend and maybe get your first kiss but don't go to far. Keep it above the clothes ok.

Feelings can be confusing at your age, especially where first crushes are concerned. If you think you may have a fondness for him, what can it hurt? Just keep in mind to keep things at the level they should be at for a 13yo. Good luck.

Yes- you think you might be having delusions of love.
You, at your young age, have not have the chance to experience love or "like", and you really want to.
You have to communicate with this guy, clue him in on your feelings. You have tune in to your inner feelings to know what to do.

It could be, it could also be that you have genuinely developed feelings for him.
Why don't you go out once and talk to him and see if you realy connect.
