A lot of dogs do this. The behavior is easier to prevent than it is to cure when the dog has developed the habit.

There are some "cures" that have been used with limited success. Punishment generally only works in the early stages, before the behavior becomes habitual. Feeding the dog MSG, garlic, or pumpkin is believed to give feces a bad taste, making it less attractive to the dog. Other products can be applied to the feces directly; however, dogs are very perceptive and can probably distinguish between tainted and untainted feces.

For some dogs this may be an indicator of a deficiency of some sort. Ask your Vet about this and get any needed supplements. There is also something you can sprinkle over the other dogs poop that will break the habit of the other one scooping it up, like Cayenne Pepper. OR you can sprinkle "Deter" over their food or feed them in tablet form. It makes the poop..unsavory.

Get plenty of hot sauce and pour it all over the dogs feces. After a few doses of the hot sauce the poo-eater should stop.

Got to the petstore and get a food additive called for bid. Put it in all of your dogs food. Also, don't give the dogs garlic; too much can actually kill your dog.

Sometimes it's a sign of nutritional deficiency.

Get a nutritional dog food, try to deter the behaviour and brush his teeth daily.

sounds wierd but put garlic in all your other dogs food!!!!!

She wont touch it.

The fact that she is eating pooh suggests that maybe she is deficient in a nutrient. Make sure she eats a well- balanced diet.

She may also be bored, she can not tell you in words so it might be her way of saying take me out for a walk.

Or you could just hand your guest an antibacterial wipe!!!!!

Good luck
