That by the grace and love of the Most High God, the Promised One, the Messiah, has come to live amongst us as a man (Jesus), bringing God's Kingdom to us. Salvation from death and damnation, forgiveness of sin, and eternal life are His gifts to anyone who will accept them. For those who believe, He willingly took our sins on Himself and suffered and died on the cross, and our sins died with Him. And as He took our sins upon Himself, so He gave His righteousness to us. After three days He was raised (resurrected) from the dead to give us victory over death. In Him the Old Covenant with God is fulfilled and the New Covenant proclaimed.

The overall message of the Gospels is to put your faith in Jesus Christ and what he did for the world by dying on the Cross and the third day rising from the dead. Actually that is the overall message of the New Testament.

The 4 Gospel accounts are just that--4 accounts of the same Gospel. The Apostle Paul details the Gospel in a nutshell when he says, "I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said" (1st Corinthians 15:3-4). Is your faith in Christ for your salvation? Open your heart to Him today!

The four gospels are the story of the birth, life and death of Jesus Christ, As remembered and documented by Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.
The remaining books of the New Testament(except for Revelation) account for the period of time in which the apostles set up the church here on earth.
The Book of Revelation is a book of Prophecy for the Second Coming of Jesus.

Look through and read the gospels and read what Jesus stated the purpose of his coming to earth was. He stated what his purpose in coming was.
1) The Kingdom of God. The real goverment that he spoke of, as is mentioned at Revelation 5:9,10, Daniel 2:44, etc.
Luke 4:43 "But He said to them, "I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also, for I was sent for this purpose."
2) To die, proving Satans challenge to God in Eden to be a lie, and to give his soul as a ransom (a legal loosening or 'kopher' in Hebrew) in exchange for anyone exercising faith in it.
Matthew 20:28 "just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many."
The above two points highlighting God's love for mankind.

We have all fallen short of the Glory of God- and sinned against Him- See Romans 3.
Jesus came, and was prophesied to come since the beginning of time to die on the cross and rise again so that those who believe would be set free from sin- forgiven and given everlasting life, when they believe and repent. Jesus is the one sacrifice for sin- God became flesh- as Jesus ( John 1:1) and made a way for those who believe to be with him for eternity, because sin separates man from God. He died a painful death and had no sin- he was not guilty of anything- yet they crucified Him, in order that the scriptures would be fulfilled, as God planned long ago for this to happen. And God is glorified through it all...and those who believe and follow the Lord will be saved- sealed with the Holy Spirit. Jesus came to save sinners.....and even Himself shared the gospel, using God's law, to show people they have sinned against God- this way it makes them conscious of sin and then they better understand why Jesus died on the cross.
Romans 3:20
Therefore no one will be declared righteous in his sight by observing the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of sin.
Jesus says "I am the only way, truth and life and no one comes to the Father but through Me" John 14:6
He made it clear He was the son of God- and that He was the only salvation for mankind.

To love God and his son Jesus with all your heart, mind, soul and to love everyone else in the world unconditionally. How do you find out how to love him and others? The Bible will tell you and you can ask him yourself and I promise he will answer, not necessarily in an out loud voice but in millions of different little ways.

That the angry bitter jealous god of the old testament had a conversion. He sent himself down to be killed by his own creation to protect said creation from his own wrath. But don't think he changed his mind!! A perfect being can't change his mind. It's something we just can't explain ;-)
