Sounds like you have a problem. Honestly though, as long as you live under someone else's roof, parents, or someone else, you will always have this problem. If it is a "problem". If they are treating you badly without cause, then that is bad of them. I can tell you this, your life is just beginning, and it is up to you how you want it to end up. What you need to do is get a job. Where there is a will there is a way my friend. I used to be 18 myself once, and I would give anything to know then what I know now. The only problem was, when I was 18 I thought that everyone that was older was just stupid, and didn't know anything, turns out I was the stupid one. Get a job, get out on your own, and don't, don't, don't allow "so called friends" take advantage of you. Don't get into the partying thing, and by all means----------- here goes-------------- give your life to Jesus, and you will have a more wonderful life than you could ever imagine. Yeah I know, not the popular advise huh? Well do me the favor of one day, say about 30 years from now, look back at this little piece of advise, and see what you think of it then, okay? You can take it, or leave it. I would much rather you take it, but its up to you, as with everything else. Bye.

Massachusettes is very cold right now, lol. Here's an idea:
First, don't call yourself pathetic - this shows that you are starting to absorb what your parents think. And that cannot be good.
You don't have your high school diploma yet, so I'm guessing you're still a senior (and hoping you haven't dropped out). You seem pretty-common sense, so I'm going with the senior theory.
Look into getting a job and talk to a few of your friends who might be interested in renting an apartment together. Even if you have to have a roommate to afford to move out, it's better than being where you are. If you are anywhere near a college, there are always lots of people looking for roommates there, too. Also ask a friend of yours to take you in their car to complete your driver's test. That will give you a lot more independence. Some apartment buildings also give free rent to people who work there doing maintenance or running the front desk. Look around and see if you can get something like that if worse comes to worse. Good luck.

Here's a thought..if you stay busy and concentrate on getting a part time job (and saving most of the money), finishing school, getting your license, etc. you'll be so busy they won't bother you so much...and then as soon as you graduate you CAN leave, without being homeless or sleeping on a friends couch being a total loser mooch.
I left home a few weeks before i turned 16, quit school to support myself, and worked my **** off to make it. I did, but i sure wish i had done things differently now. I could have gone to college and had a much better life, but just had to do things my way. My step dad said "don't let the door hit you in the **** on the way out! As I grow older, I'm surprised how much my parents put up with and the fact they didn't murder me...I know my step dad would have liked to!

You have to do some planning before you do that kind of thing... first get a job, finish high school, get a license and then start looking at colleges FAR AWAY! But if you can't wait that long (which is probably the case) ask a good friend if you can stay with him/her for a while. If you go to a good college you can get a good job and make enough cash to go wherever you want!
But mainly, ask your friends if you can hang with them for a little while, BUT don't make messes and do your own laundry so they don't think as you as a jerk and ask you to leave.

Hang in there. Get your **** straight first and find a job and finish school. It gets harder once you leave home. I left at 15. It was a struggle. If you work you will be away from the house a lot!!! Put things in order for your first pad!!!

if you do the military thing, do the coast guard or the air force, or maybe the navy (they may still put you in the marines). unless you want to fight in a war.
i would recommend talking to friends about it,
try to find someone to move in with and find employment then go to a junior college and pick up a trade.

Try going to college away from home. That way you could live in a dorm and visit your parents on holidays.
