This is from years and years ago but it just hit me...on a first date with this gal she tells me she is a virgin...why? I did not make any assertions that I was planning on going there with her so soon...

it's because she want to let it be known before anything happens or you ask the question but all woman dont do that or maybe she wanted the person she went on the date to know something about her sex life

The Only reason a woman would make that announcement is to let you know right up front you are not getting any lovin. She wants to go out, spend your money, and after that she is not interested.
Dude.... Run from these women at all costs. They need to grow up and realise what they are doing is ridiculous. To assume you were going to pounce on her the moment she was finished with the burger you brought her is quite astute. I always say, a woman should still have fries left when I make my first move.
That does not mean she does not owe her part of the bill however, go get em tiger.

Maybe she wanted you to know so you dont do anything, or maybe she told you because she wanted you to do something. I am a female and I have hellof a time figuring out some of the bizarre things I do. My husband asks me and I look at him and say, Dont question me, just go with the flow.
Sorry I cant be of no help here. Bottom line-- THere is no rhyme or reason to why women do things they do most of the time. :-) Remember that and you will be scratching your head alot less!

Was there any conversation that would have made her comment appropriate? Oh was she just like eating her popcorn, looked at you and said, "Oh by the way, I'm a virgin. Could you pass the salt?" And if she just randomly blurts out comments like that, then maybe she has Tourettes or something. Who knows...

Could be a couple things.
Maybe she was trying to let you know she wasnt going to be having sex
Maybe she was trying to be sexy by appearing untouched,innocent.
I wasnt on your date or Im sure Id have a clear opinion but whats it matter anyway?

maybe she thought you would enjoy knowing that you could be her first. Or she playing games to get you to bed sooner than you were ready.
