I'm studying for final exams, and I've got a few thousand Latin root words and French conjugations to review. So many to have to write out by hand!

I'd love a flexible program that let me switch between the root and its conjugation, meaning, etc., and review the ones I missed until I get them right. I definitely don't need a fancy one. But I know that since I'm broke I mustn't be too picky.

Anything that works on OS X and somehow let me review the words would be great, so please list anything you've heard of or tried and what you think of it. Thanks!

Availability of freeware has absolutely nothing to do with the quality of a platform. Serious answers only, please.

Hey silly! Try Studycard Studio Lite. I've tried a bunch with mixed results. This isn't the greatest or the most stable, but it's free and it gets the job done. You get to customize the type of question, category and level of difficulty, as well as how you are quizzed. Good luck with finals! :)

Hi flurrie,

If you seek a program. I recommend you going to Version Tracker or Mac Update:

http://www.versiontracker.com/macosx/

http://macupdate.com/

I typed into the Search text field inside Version Tracker and got a big long list of Flash Card programs. How does FlashCards Pro X 1.4 or Studycard Studio Lite 2.5, sound to you? Those are both freeware programs.

Studycard Studio Lite 2.5 got rated more stars though. Check it out here:

I hope that this will help you, flurrie. Best of luck on your final exams.

Oh, and coolchess123, get a life! ;-)
