Once I turn 18, I want to get tattoo on the inside of my left forearm. I want the tattoo to be about an inch and a half wide and 6 and a half inches long. Will it hurt a lot? What will happen when (and if) I get old? Will the needles interfere with my bloodstream or anything? And do you know a place I can get the tattoo at 17, not 18?

I'm 12 and I don't care if people frown upon a tattoo. Lawyers need to be silver-tongued, not tattoo-free!

Well, think about this: The tattoo will be on your skin forever, so why NOT wait until it can be done legally? Keep in mind, anyone that will tattoo an underage person is going against the law, so do you think that they will use proper procedures and equipment? Probably not, they will just want to make a few crummy bucks from you, and they won't do a good job, and surely will not use sterilized equipment. Just take this time to really research tattoos and good artists, and when you're 18, go nuts, get your whole body tattooed. Just make sure you have it done well! Everyone that I have known that got under age tattoos ended up getting them covered up, or lazered off.

If you're 12, I wouldn't be planning a tattoo just yet.
I knew I wanted tattoos when I was 15.
However, my family didn't approve, and I had to wait until I was 18, so I could legally sign for myself.
By the time I was 18, I had changed my mind DRASTICALLY about what I wanted to have put on my body that was going to be there for the rest of my life.
I'm 22 now, and I have 15 tattoos. I love every single one of them.
But, thinking back, if I would have gotten the tattoos I wanted when I was 14 or 15, I would be KICKING myself right now.
So, be patient. Think about them long and hard before going and doing it.
Yes, it will hurt. They all hurt. But once you get through the pain, you'll have a beautiful tattoo on yourself, and if you're really worried about what it's going to look like in 70 years, then maybe you shouldn't get one.
And legally, no tattoo shop can tattoo you unless you are 18, without a parent along. And even then, some shops won't tattoo you until you are actually 18.

it will hurt but just enough so that when someone asks did it hurt, you can say yes. no real pain.
when you get old it will fade and get wrinkly with the rest of your face and skin.
no bloodstream interrferance
just wait until 18, its not long away, your skin and the tatto parlor will still be there in 12 months or however long you have left
best advice for a first tattoo, get one that can NOT be seen if you wear shorts and a short sleeve tshirt, lots of jobs frown or down right exclude you for having visible tatoos.
nice nickname by the way...

yes.
skin will sag.
no interference.
no. wait until you're 18 or older. it's illegal to give a 17 year old a tattoo.
ok. do you know what the design is? have you really thought about why you want it on the inside or your arm? i've seen my grandma's forearm, and it's pretty saggy. it's gonna hurt, because it's your first, and the inside area of your arm can be very sensitive. all i'm saying is to give it a lot of thought on the design and placement.
P.S.- that tattoo will be over 1/2 a ft long! think about it.

When you get old, you'll be embarrassed that you let an 18 year-old make life-time decisions.
