SOME of those fundamentalists will slander and appear stupid by their comments, but there ARE very nice people of all beliefs. It just seems that quite a few of the ones who aren't happen to invade Yahoo! Answers quite a bit.
As a practicing witch for many years, I accept people of all faiths or lack thereof.. what works for you is what works.
Even the Jewish people don't see "Satan" as the christians do. Hasatan "the opposer" is seen as being in G-d's employ. If you have ever read the TaNaKh (Old Testament) you will find no mention of demonic activity whatsoever. It isn't until the Greeks invade during that 400 year period of time in between "testaments" and they decide to translate the Jewish holy texts (btw, the Jews actually have a day of mourning for this) that you begin to see demons under every rock and in every other person on the street in the New Testament.
The Maleus Maleficarum is what began this whole "witches are in league with the devil" theme, and uneducated christians still hold to this disinformation campaign like glue.

Yes. I took a course in Anthropology for extra credits.
A couple of days ago the History channel had a good show that showed that Satan was not a religious Icon. It was a word whose meaning got twisted around to mean something other then what it used to.

I think of Wicca and Stonehenge together. Worship the God of the Sun, not the Son of (imaginary) Gods who will remain nameless unless you can sell something or patent it.

wicca endorces the practice of witchcraft which the Bible speaks strongly against. White magic is practiced by wicca witches. The power behind magic, black or white, is satan. The wicca witches that say they are not satanists are splitting hairs to deceive people into accept them into the main stream of society. These wicca witches are definitely following and worshippers of their father satan.
Don't let these witches decieve you. Don't be stupid. Paganism down through history has always and always will be a belief that is fathered and supported by the devil. Remember that the devil is the father of lies. Naturally his followers are going to lie. But in fact those wicca witches do know they are getting their magic, white or black, from satan. Again I say don't be stupid.

well, I as a Christian believe that it is because any religion that is not or does not involve Christianity is of Satan. Satan created Wicca and every other religion or belief that says it isn't Satanism so you would believe that you weren't doing wrong when the truth is anything that doesn't Glorify God is of Satan.
