my bf has suggested going to a nude beach. but what exactly are they??? do people just lay around naked?

The same things you do on a beach with a bathing suit, only minus the suit, everyone is naked. God bless****

We do the same things that everyone does on a clothed beach...swim, lie in the sun, play frisbee, volleyball, nerf football, etc., walk along the shoreline looking for shells, jog...it's really an awesome way to spend a day at the beach. Once you're naked for a few minutes you'll never want to wear a bathing suit again!

Strictly speaking there are no such things as 'nude beaches'. There are beaches where people can opt to wear clothes or not. You don't have anyone policing you on the beaches to nude up or get out.
People do all sorts of things on nudist beaches - they swim, sunbathe, play volleyball, frisbee, cricket, football, or enjoy a spot of fishing. The imagination is the limit.
I have been going to clothes optional beaches since 1991 and I love it!

You should go, and just hang out. I went to one with my bf and thought that everyone would be all looking at me but that was not how it was. It gave me a sense of freedom and made me less uptight about my body. It was just like any other beach but people were naked.

Same thing you do at a clothed beach, but with more freedom. After you swim, you're not sitting in a wet suit for hours. A quick dab with the towel and you're comfy and dry again! All-over tan is a plus. Volleyball, wakeboarding, walking, shelling, sand castles... whatever you want to do! Enjoy if you get a chance.

Lay naked, swim, sun tan, talk, play volleyball. No one really cares, you just go about life in the normal way.

gives people a chance to let it all hang out,its kind of a release from modern life and what else could be more natural.
