Yes.ALL Satellite sevices charge for local channels.(Even if they tell you your local channels are "FREE" if you look closely at your bill you'll find that there IS in fact a "surcharge" or somesuch.) Having had experience with satellite and cable,cable is far more reliable,and cheaper in the long run.Most satellite providers lure you in with an intitial cheap rate,which usually expires anywhere from 1 to 3 months.

no, i have directtv and have their basic lineup and i have all my local channels. it is very affordable. i love my regular shows. i could'nt live without that.
