Yes, Lexapro can effect your ability to climax and can even decreash or diminsh your libido. If this is an issue for you, talk to your doctor about it. Don't be scared or embarassed. I know that most SSRIs (selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors) can (Prozac, Effexor, Wellbutrin, etc). They can cause a decreased libido . See the following link by the pharmaceutical company that makes Lexapro. I will say that all meds don't affect everyone the same way.
Manufactures HAVE to report significant side effects that were reported by those individuals taking the drug in the trial phase. It may not be common to most users.
I would imagine that users of Lexapro would have to weigh what is most important, freedom from depression and anxiety or a lack of sex drive. That might be a tough trade-off.

not at all. i had had this problem with zoloft before, along with many other side effects, but lexapro seems to be the best medication i have been on. side effects are minimal, i am less drowsy, and am still able to orgasm.

when I took it, I couldn't climax at all. talk to your doctor about switching you to something with less sexual side effects.
