No because I don't class myself as having anything to do with either fundamentalist Christians or fundamentalist atheists. Both tribes engage in aggresive, self righteous thinking and they resemble one another much more than than they do people with normal common sense. Generally the people that cast a sweeping judgement upon all religious people because of the fundamentalist example are the people that most resemble fundamentalists - the rigid, dogmatic atheists.

Just because there are more of them doesn't mean that the rest seem stupid. From what I've seen, the loudest of the fundamentalists keep proving their own ignorance, with such statements that "The King James Version of the Bible is God's actual word".
In the end, the largest vote doesn't determine truth. At one point, the largest vote said the world was flat. At one point, the largest vote said that the Earth was the center of the universe. At one point, we couldn't fly, couldn't go to the moon. Are we going to listen to the largest vote still?

Its an somewhat vulnerable attempt at attacking something they view to be a guess. they have not have been given any thought what so ever how ignorant it makes them sound. permit's call it an attack against evolution. permit's pretend the Christians are the terrific option and that they did no longer evolve from ape like creatures, they actually did come from a pile of dirt that a splendid being scraped mutually and breathed into. they're dirt toddlers and not ape toddlers. Evolution is thoroughly incorrect. permit's supply them evolution, permit's say that evolution is thoroughly incorrect, that each and all the info for it relatively is fabricated, or perhaps say sorry for our stupidity in believing this variety of untamed and unprovable concept. We nevertheless have not have been given any reason what so ever to believe the God hypothesis. No reason what so ever. We nevertheless have not have been given any reason in any respect to believe that a mystical floating sky daddy went approximately waggling his palms and coming up universes and then respiration into piles of airborne dirt and dirt coming up dirt toddlers, the thought of historical extraterrestrial beings has extra chew to it than the paranormal concept of Christian mythology, yet there are ignorant Christians accessible, that actual believe. disproving evolution might a technique or the different bring up the Christian view, without evolution. they think of Christianity is the default winner. in no way techniques the thousands and thousands of different introduction myths with equivalent info helping them, Christians actual believe their reason is bolstered with the help of attacking evolution rather of offering stable info for his or her very own attitude. This of direction isn't the case, The God hypothesis is an somewhat stupid concept that has in no way been supported with the help of the slightest little bit of info, In each case that's been rejected as no longer genuine, each and each case. Evolution, on the different hand, has a wealth of expertise helping its elementary assertions, larger beings have stepped forward from decrease ones, It does not require theory because of fact it has evidential help. God did it, heavily isn't an explination.

althought I am not a theist, I don't judge every Theist based on the fundies. I know some of them have pretty valid arguments for the existance of a god that don't involve a bunch of fictional ramblings.

Fundies of all religions are the cause of much of the conflict in this world ... they read without knowing God. They cause much suffering because they really have no idea of God. Words are in the physical universe ,God , our source, is not.
OK?

Anyone with a grasp of basic logic would not judge me by what someone else says or does. So it really doesn't bother me what others do your how you choose to interpret it.
