Mad Cow has nothing to do with manure,it can not be contracted through manure,it can only be caused by eating the meat of the cow.Mad Cow is caused by the cow being fed other cow's,factory farmers recycle cows' parts by feeding them to other cows,since cows are herbivores theor body doesn't function with the protein and it damages their brain.e. coli is caused by something coming in contact with cow manure,like the spinach epidemic in california,it was caused by the water which was contaminated with runoffs from cow feedlots near water irrigation systems.It can also be contracted from eating undercokked meat.

well if the mad cow disease was caused by e coli then maybe that is how the green onions got e coli.
im really upset that taco bell is closing down because i love it

E. Coli contamination is a far cry from mad cow disease. Mad cow is a prion related disease while the other is a bacteria. Sorry, no link.

Who knows if it was mad cow disease, all I heard was that it was ecoli.
