My brother did something similar The doctors called it night terrors, but it took him a long time to wake up. Once we had to take him to the ER because he was aggressive and screaming for help. The Doc said that it could b caused by personal problems (self-conscious, fear of someone, abused, etc)

You should get a sleep study done.

See your family physician first and tell him of your symptoms. Then he will probably refer you to a sleep doctor. You really need to see a sleep doctor first before you see a sleep therapist. My husband had similar symptoms you are describing.
Well, he seen the sleep doctor and they did a sleep study. You stay one night at their office. It's a comfortable bedroom that they put you in. They monitor your brain waves when you sleep. You just have a lot of wires taped to random parts of your body.
We found out that he doesn't fall into a deep sleep sometimes. And sometimes he falls into a semi- conscious sleep and it affects his brain, he's basicly acting out what he is dreaming about.
They gave medication to help. He did see a sleep therapist for a while, but he is better now so he doesn't go as often.

It sounds like you are having night terrors but there is also an element of aggression in these stories...

is it possible that you were ever abused? is that a sore topic with you? were you raised to live in fear that someone might abuse you? does your family give you alot of anxiety?

maybe not.... i'm just throwing out guesses.

whatever the reason, you should probably just talk to a doctor and explain the problems but don't just say "trouble sleeping" because they will just give you sleeping pills that won't solve the problem.

You all need to go to church to learn to know God and His love.

In the Beginning God created heavens and earth.
God gives you air to breathe and sunshine to enjoy.
God gives you water to drink and food to eat.
God gives you a wonderful body and sound mind, to live.
God loves you, and you are precious to Him.
Son of God died on the Cross to save us from condemnation.
Jesus’ love is boundless and everlasting.
We have the hope of Heaven through Jesus.
Life therefore has fantastic and glorious future!
(Digestion of above can even prevent depression and suicidal thoughts.)

You probably could use some therapy. You might have some kind of sleep disorder along with having dysfunctions.
