Well here are my standards in a girl:
Smart
beautiful
caring
animal lover
No to drugs
doesn't drink (underage)
No illegal activities
fun to be around
sense of humor
Trustable
Trusting (there is a difference)
Are these standards set a little to high?

NO!!!! NOT AT ALL.
I think those standards are pretty good, you might be having some trouble finding girls who cover all of them, but when you find her don't let her go and take good care of her, cause there aren't too many girls as good as you want them to be. I'm not kidding, and specially right now.
I'm all the things you just said and more, (not kidding), and it ain't easy, cause the rest of the people don't really understand, that I don't drink, that i'm not into doing illegal things and they try to make me, but that's why most girls, are the opposite of what you just said...

No that sounds like a good list of standards. A lot of people's standards are too low. And because of this, others are given the right to set low standards for themselves.

beautiful, as in physical beauty, is an acceptable standard, but it makes it very hard to find a girl with all of the other qualities you wish.
Inner beauty is produced by all of the other qualities that you wanted.
