Im a guy and my friend is white. She's really good looking and she said she would never ever date an asian guy and we'd even crack jokes sometimes (not to be racist). But now she's dating some chinese guy and I feel a bit awkward and she should too since she has made jokes about them in the past. So why did she sell out? Im wondering why she has to be like this

It's not really selling out. She might have realized the error of her ways and grown into a bigger person by being less ethnocentric. If this is the case, there is no need to be awkward with either of them. Just be happy for them, and happy for her that she is moving forward.

Because it is quite commical to make jokes when you aren't involved. Just like it is funny to laugh or stare at heavy people or people who are a little different until it happens to someone in your family, right. Guess you learned a lesson without even realizing it. Never say never because you never know.

She probably was being judgemental and maybe the guy is nice. Don't worry about it. She'll know next time not to say stuff like that. The only person who really knows why she sold out is her. Ask her.

Maybe she is trying to get some variety in her life, and make it more diverse. Maybe she's trying to clean up from the mistakes she said in the past. You should try it (interracial dating).
I'm mixed with black and white and I love it...not to be biast or anything :-P
