Absolutely not! The opposite effect would be escalated hatred against us by the rest of the world. Let's face it. The time has come for the United States to become partners with the rest of the world rather than trying to dominate it. The world today is a hornet's nest ready to explode as soon as someone trys to break into it. When that happens, we will see destruction, the likes of which we have never seen before. The U.S. is supposed to protect it's citizens, but it's policies are putting U.S. citizens in harms way, both here and aboard. I hope someone in Washington will come to their senses and see the path this country is on. The "By the people and for the people" has been removed from the "We the people". We need to take back the power of the people, if we are to survive. No country is immortal. If we continue on the path, which we are now on, I shudder to think of the consequences for us and the rest of the world.

Well, the axis was Iraq, Iran and No. Korea, so as far as Iraq, true, Israel was able to knock out Iraq's nuclear site as it only had one and Saddam wasn't expecting the attack.
Iran is a different story, they have many sites spread over the country, most buried deep underground, making conventional weapons much less effective. Iran is prepared for Israel's eventual attack and Russia is supporting Iran by selling them nuclear technology and anti- missile defense rockets.
No. Korea is a threat in that they can possibly sell nukes one day to terrorist groups, something that would be hard to prove or prevent unless No. Korea's nuclear programs are destroyed. They also have a chemical weapons program.
So, because of all of this and that the president of Iran has made clear he intends to take out Israel and seeks to destroy the west (Europe and America), what options are there than taking military action against these two states? Talks with them would only give them more time to complete their nuclear programs.
Israel can't do it alone, and I believe that the US will take action soon.
